Camp Overview

The Leadership Camp has a camp-within-a-camp setting. Our host organization is Camp “Forest Meadow” located in a picturesque park area 12 miles South-East of Kharkiv City. Kharkiv is the second biggest city in Ukraine founded in 1654.

Every summer, “Forest Meadow” accommodates up to 400 school-aged kids; its infrastructure includes a 3-story residential building, a dining hall, an amphitheater with a stage, a soccer field, a basketball court, outdoor fitness equipment, a medical office, and other amenities. A nurse is on duty 24/7.

A typical daily schedule at the camp looks as follows:

  • Wake up horn (8 am)
  • Morning group workout
  • Breakfast
  • Leadership classes
  • Lunch
  • Quiet hour/Reading time
  • Leadership classes
  • Dinner
  • Night movie or dance
  • Lights out (10:30 pm)

A typical accommodation is up to 10 same-gender kids per room, with shared showers and bathrooms.
